無比震撼的開幕：和理非？

1． 開場的獨白，用了Malcom 著名的 「I have a Nightmare」演說。 “Brothers and sisters, I am here to tell you that I charge the white man. I charge the white man with being the greatest murderer on earth. I charge the white man with being the greatest kidnapper on earth. There is no place in this world that this man can go and say he created peace and harmony. Everywhere he's gone, he's created havoc. Everywhere he's gone, he's created destruction. So I charge him.” 一部火氣猛烈的電影，真正的On Fire。

2． 而這場獨白是在一支定態的美國國旗前宣讀，氣勢激情，再配合黑白色的警暴片段，看多幾次，心臟一直加速跳動。[想起了香港，當然。] 3． 然後那支美國國旗慢慢的被火燒，燒至凈下一個「X」字。

4． 不到兩分鐘，就告訴了觀眾了電影的主格調。更重要的是給「白人」觀眾一個清晰而毫不隱晦的訊息。 沒有別的——我就是要控告你，白人！

5． 這種開場注定是要讓你（白人）感到不舒服。Spike Lee理直氣壯！大聲大喊的！

6． 這種控告一反我們認識美國60年代的黑人民權「和理非」的主旋律，the greatest murder, the greatest kidnapper, no place in this world that this man can go and say peace and harmony …這是和理非嗎？滿手是血呀！

7． 歷史都是被凈化過的，我們知道馬丁路德金的I have a dream，甚至知道Rosa Parks 的巴士逆權運動，但是激進思想在60年代還真的很激進！

8． 這電影強迫我們接受和面對自私的個人和最黑暗的歷史。Malcolm 最後被殺的場面猶如上海灘的許文強，英雄本色的Mark 哥，喋血雙雄教堂混戰般的壯烈。

9． 人人都反暴力，沒有錯。但我們不能因為讀過凈化過的歷史就天真的以為這世界真的很純潔。

10． Malcolm 還有一句很出名的發言： “We declare our right on this earth to be a man, to be a human being, to be respected as a human being, to be given the rights of a human being in this society, on this earth, in this day, which we intend to bring into existence by any means necessary.” 重點在最後三個字。黑人立國、種族徹底隔離、甚至武裝自已直至所有白人收起槍枝都曾經是Malcolm的主張。沒有這些激進思潮為黑人自身立下壯實的身份定義，也不會有這麼堅強和持久的民權運動。
